Beloved brother of Lorraine Weglarz, the late Jack (Judy) Weglarz, the late Walter (the late Mickey) Weglarz, Jim Weglarz, Tom (the late Bernie) Weglarz, Joan (Frank) Miruzzi, Dorothy Weglarz, Charles Weglarz, and Ralph (Elizabeth) Weglarz. Dear brother-in-law to the late Katherine (Val) Kryk, Nancy (Robert) Kosch, and Stephen (Karen) Grech. Proud Godfather of Rachel Grech. David is survived by many nieces, nephews and cherished friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Verna Weglarz and his in-laws Spiro and Mary Ann Grech. David proudly served his country for 20 years before retiring from the United States Navy. His devoted service included two tours in Vietnam. He enjoyed fishing with his brothers and friends. At family gatherings, he was the one hiding behind the camera and taking all of the photos. Most importantly, he loved spending quality time with his family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in memory of David to Capuchin Soup Kitchen or Fr. Solanus Casey Center.
