David A. Kalaska

David Anthony Kalaska was born on December 11, 1938 in Wyandotte, Michigan and died on September 17, 2020 at the age of 81; he was of Trenton. Beloved husband of the late Brenda Joyce (nee: Holladay) Kalaska; they were married in Macomb, Ohio on April 29, 1961. Loving father of the late John and to his wife Michelle Kalaska, Chad Kalaska, Todd Kalaska and Stacy (Sean) White. Papa extraordinaire to Honor White and Brayden White. Dearest brother-in-law of Ronald and Mary Holladay. Also survived by other loving family and friends. In addition to his wife and son he was preceded in death by his parents John and Grace (nee: Harrison) Kalaska, one brother Donald Harrison and one sister Virginia Thurman. David was a graduate of Trenton High School and Madonna University who served his Country in the United States Airforce. He proudly served his community with the Trenton Police Department and retired as a Command Lieutenant after 34 years of service. Memorial contributions to honor David’s life may be made to the Trenton Food Pantry or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital To those attending visitation and/or services for a loved one, in keeping with State of Michigan Executive Orders 2020-110 and 2020-147 , masks and social distancing guidelines will be observed and enforced.
