David A. Dimarco

DiMarco, David A. Age 61. December 24, 2018 of Allen Park. Beloved son of Tony and Silvania. Loving brother of Ronald (Helen) and Lorie (Paul) Bobak. Proud uncle of Joseph (Brandon), Diona (Al) Torres, Paula (Luke) Bournay and Andrew Bobak and great uncle of Mikayla, Owen, Allison and Annabelle. Dave was an accomplished engine builder and mechanic. He loved Drag Racing and Nascar and dedicated his life to the sport. He worked for Roush Racing in Livonia for years and then moved to North Carolina to work for Hendricks Motorsports, building winning engines for Jeff Gordon, Jimmy Johnson and Terry La Bonte, to name just a few. He was also an avid train watching fan who would travel all over, spending hours watching trains go by. He was a proud uncle, who is loved and will be missed by many. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 12th, 2019, 12:00 Noon, at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, 9000 Laurence, Allen Park, MI 48101. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association.
