Dave Cox

David Lee Cox, age 78 of Lincoln Park, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2024 surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband to his wife, Dolores, of 37 years.

Loving and caring dad to Deborah (Todd) Filer, Michele (Ken) Byrd, Michael (Alicia) Cox, Evelyn (Nick) Sledge, Thomas (Chris) Daniels, Joseph (Tonya) Daniels, and Arietta (Steve) Clifford. Loving grandfather to 20 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Sadly, he was preceded in death by his parents, Audley and Mina Cox. He was also preceded in death by his brother, William (Verna) Scheiern.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at the Allen Park Chapel of the Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 10915 Allen Rd. Allen Park, MI 48101, from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral Ceremony will take place at 7:30 pm. Cremation will take place afterwards.
