Darryl Elliot Nelson

Born in Highland Park, Michigan, Darryl was the son of Elliot and Bernice (Graham) Nelson. He faithfully served our country in the United States Marine Corps from April 28, 1966 until April 27, 1970. Darryl worked for General Motors at the Powertrain Plant in Toledo for over 32 years, retiring in 2006. He married the love of his life, Linda Mitchell, on April 18, 1998. Darryl had a passion for collecting Die Cast Cars, amassing a collection of over 25,000 cars.

Darryl leaves to cherish his memory, Linda, his wife of the past 26 years; his children: Andrew (December Shultis) Rayle, Daniel (Bobbi) Rayle and Kenneth (Jennifer) Rayle; 6 grandchildren: James, Madyson, Cheyene, Jacob, Carson and Braden; 3 great grandchildren: Malachi, Zira and Elliana; as well as 2 siblings: Lyna Czarnecki and Janice Adams. Sadly he was preceded in death by his parents and 3 siblings Darlene Williams, Karen Edwards and Bonnie Lesniak.
