Darlene Carrol Walls

Born in Wyandotte, Darlene was the daughter of Harold and Theresa (Karas) Weinstein. She married the love of her life, Raymond Walls Sr., on March 20, 1973. Sadly he preceded her in death December 12, 2010. A dedicated homemaker, Darlene also worked as a cook at various restaurants throughout the area. She enjoyed cooking, especially southern cooking, but her most treasured times were those spent with her family. Darlene leaves to cherish her memory her son Raymond Walls Jr; grandchildren: Travis Walls, Trevor Walls, Brenden Walls, Amanda Kurtz, Katie Kurtz, Richard Walls Jr. and Autumn Walls; great grandchildren Lillian Walls, Oakley Walls, Ryeliee Kurtz, Alexis Kurtz, Gino Kurtz, Jaycen Mckenzie, Maci McKenzie and Grady McKenzie; as well as her father Harold Weinstein; and five siblings: Monica Weinstein, Darryl (Lynn) Weinstein, Susan (Ronald) Belman, Nancy (Frank) Kominek and Judy (Aaron) Crawford; and a special friend Lori VanWasshenova. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her mother; two sons: John Walls and Richard Walls; a grandson Tyler Walls and two siblings: Harold Weinstein and Vivian Yount. A private memorial gathering will be held at a later time.
