Daniel Thomas Stephens Jr.

Daniel Thomas Stephens Jr., of Trenton, passed away June 25, 2022. Loving dad of Austyn Stephens. Beloved son of Daniel T. Stephens Sr. and Louella Stephens. Dear brother of Diane (Dennis) Kendall and Debra (Daniel) Franklin. Cherished uncle of Emily (Steve) Covyeou, Courtney (PJ) Williamson, Bruce (Shannon) Barnes, and Erika (Jason) Barnes. He is survived by many great nieces and nephews and cousins. Former wife and mother of Austyn, Jennifer Ann Tuel- Stephens and his step children, Kelsey and Devin. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ann J. and Roy Pierson, Donald J. Stephens Sr. and Inez Turner. He joins his two boxers, Cody and Brody and leaves behind Zeus. Daniel was an avid Detroit Tigers fan and had a overall love for baseball. He shared that love with his son. From coaching his son’s travel baseball team for 7 years and playing up until he couldn’t. He attended Macomb Community College on a full scholarship for baseball. Daniel proudly served his country in the United States Marines. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to help support Austyn’s education expenses. Visitation will be held at The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes on Friday July 1, 2022 from 3:00 – 8:00 pm. A funeral service will be held at 7:00 pm.
