Daniel E. Zanon

Zanon, Daniel E. Age 73 of Grosse Ile died at his home on June 23, 2015. Daniel was born February 14, 1942 in Detroit, Michigan to his parents Edward and Lillian (nee: Gattamelata) Zanon who preceded him in death. He is the Beloved father of Lisa (Jay) Frucci and the late Brian and is the proud grandpa of Emily, Elizabeth and Katherine. Also survived by other loving family and friends. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his former spouse Joy and his sister Donna Varney. Daniel served his Country in the United States Navy and was retired from Ford Motor Company. His family was his love in life and he especially enjoyed spending time with his granddaughters; he also enjoyed fishing and the Detroit Tigers. There will be a Memorial Service at Grosse Ile Presbyterian Church on July 2, 2015 at 1 pm. Memorial contributions to honor his life may be made to the Grosse Ile Educational Foundation, P.O. Box 34, Grosse Ile, Michigan.
