Connie R. Watkins

Born in New Martinsville, West Virginia, Connie was the daughter of James and Ruth (Jones) Williamson. After high school, Connie went on the further her education, earning her Masters Degree in Special Education from Eastern Michigan University. She married the love of her life, Kevin Watkins, on September 2, 1972. Connie was employed as a Special Education Teacher for Romulus Community Schools for over 31 years, retiring in 2008. She also volunteered for many years for the Rockwood elections. Connie leaves to cherish her memory, Kevin, her husband of the past 46 years; a son Aaron (Nichole) Watkins; her father James Williamson; as well as three sisters: Penny (Denny) Price, Debra (Bob) Colt and Beverly (James) Abraham. Sadly she was preceded in death by her mother.
