Clive Owen Forrest

Clive O. Forrest. Age 76, of South Rockwood, MI, passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at Beaumont Hospital in Dearborn. He was born May 27, 1941 in Romulus, MI to Floyd and Marguerite (Sagesser) Forrest. Clive married Barbara J. Borawski August 24, 1963 in Rockwood at St. Mary of The Annunciation Catholic Church. Clive was one of the founders of the South Rockwood Little League, President of the Village of South Rockwood for 12 years and councilman for 8 years. He was an avid hunter, enjoyed snowmobiling, bowling, playing cards, casino trips and hosting parties at his family home, especially fish fries and Super Bowl parties. Clive is survived by his loving wife Barb of 54 years; children Jim Forrest, Susie Forrest, Barbie (Torrey) Quednau and Cathy (Greg) Ryan; grandchildren Jimmy, Andrea, Morgan, Rob and Lindsay, Andrew and Zoe; step-grandchildren Lindsay and Camron; sister Corine Naumann and many loving nieces and nephews. Clive was preceded in death by his parents Floyd and Marguerite Forrest and 2 brothers Chuck Forrest and Casey Forrest. Friends may call Thursday from 2:30-9:00pm at The Ford Chapel-Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 23620 N. Huron River Dr., Rockwood. Funeral service will take place Friday at Carleton United Methodist Church, Carleton. Clive will lie in state at the church from 9:00am until the funeral service at 10:00am. Rev. Taek Kim will officiate. Interment will take place at Riverside Cemetery, Rockwood. Memorial contributions may be made to Carleton United Methodist Church, 11435 Grafton Rd., Carleton, MI 48117.
