Clemente Amaya

Born in Saline, Clemente was the son of Eluterio Falcon and Maria Olivia(Valadez) Amaya. He attended Mason Consolidated Schools. His childhood years were spent in the Erie area. The family gave him the nickname of Tattoo (from the TV series Fantasy Island). September 2010 he moved to the Mesick area. Many of his friends re-nicknamed him Taco, because that was one of his favorite foods. He would invite some of his friends over to dinner on taco day. Clemente enjoyed spending time with family and friends having cookouts, bonfires, fishing, playing horseshoes and card games, such as Euchre. He enjoyed listening to Mexican music, his favorite TV shows were The Young and The Restless, wrestling, and dramatic movies. His favorite phrases were, "are you serious?" and "I know these things" Clemente leaves a daughter, Sandra Marie and a son, Clemente Amaya Jr., both from Toledo, Ohio and four grandsons; siblings Maria Lupe (Robert) Saul of Mesick, Lidia (Eduardo) Perez of Harvey, Louisianna, Eluterio Amaya Jr. of Bishop, Georgia, Miss Octavia Amaya of Toledo, Ohio, Ismaiel Amaya of Monroe, Gilberto Amaya of Monroe, Miss Barbara Amaya of Toledo and Alberto Hernandez of Omaha, Nebreska, as well as many nieces and newphews, great nieces and great newphews. Sadly he was preceded in death by his parents; a sister Rosa Elva Amaya and two brothers: Andrew Amaya and Vincente Amaya. Clemente will be sadly missed by his family and friends. May the perpetual light shine on his soul and rest in peace with his loved ones. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist with funeral arrangements.
