Claudette H. Rourke

Claudette H. Rourke, age 91. of Allen Park entered Eternal life on December 19, 2022. Beloved wife of

the late John J. “Jack“ Rourke. Loving Mother of Jack (Kimberly), Kevin (Karen), Claudette (David)

Rusing, Susan M. Rourke and Kathleen (Bobby) Lancaster. Also survived by her grandchildren Adam

(Katie), Elizabeth (Christian), Chelsea (Joe), Meaghan, Scott (Caitlin), Bryan (Sara), Anthony (Claire), Christopher,

Jessica (Justin), Brittany and Joshua, great grandchildren Julia, Madelyn, Leila, Aviana, Giovanni, Luca,

Emerson, Avery, Zoe, Jade, Brealynn and Nolan. Her sister-in-law Madeline Rourke.

Claudette graduated from Marygrove College and went on to be an interior designer. Her love for travel

took her and Jack around the world, but they always returned home to support many charities including

the Downriver Council for the Arts and The Henry Ford Estate-Fairlane.

Christmas Eve was her favorite holiday celebrating Baby Jesus’ birthday with her children, grandchildren

and great grandchildren, who continued to fulfill her joys in life until the very last day.

Visitation will take place at The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes- Allen Park Chapel on Thursday December 22, 2022 from 2:00 until 8:00 pm. A rosary will begin at 7:00 pm. Visitation will continue on Friday December 23, 2022 at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church from 11:30 until 12:00, the funeral mass will take place at 12:00 pm. Burial will be at Our Lady of Hope Cemetery immediately after mass.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to The Henry Ford Estate.
