Cynthia Ann Williamson passed away on September 14, 2024. She will be remembered as the sunshine at the center of our universe. She was married to her late husband and best friend, Bill Williamson and loved him dearly. She knew the day would come that she would see him again. She raised her three wonderful children, Bill, Brian (Kim), and Bob. As a mother of all boys, she also had the absolute pleasure of helping to shape and see her three granddaughters, Ellie, Katey and Kelley grow into beautiful young women. She enjoyed spending time with her two brothers, Bill and Jim and the regular conversations they would have sharing family memories or just discussing daily life with each one of them. She absolutely cherished the get-togethers with her sister and brother-in-law Sharon and Frank. Whether seeing each other at holidays, birthdays or even meeting up-north for a fun-filled weekend, she enjoyed the many great memories that were created and the sheer joy of laughing with them.
Family was one the most important things to our Mom. She was loyal to her family and protected it dearly. As a loving daughter, she loved and helped to take care of both sets of her parents until the day they went to heaven. As a loving wife, she was there to help her husband, Bill as he was called back home to be with the Lord. As she was mourning, she helped her sons with their grief and showed us a path forward in a difficult time. These are just some of the many selfless acts that she did. Many people think of someone who is the strength of the family as a "rock" or "pillar". Our Mom was more than our rock, She was soft and caring as was and emotional/spiritual "sponge" that would not only support you whenever you needed her but she would also help "absorb" or take away some of the pain or frustration each one of us might have.
Our Mom is and will continue to be the best mother anyone could ever ask for. We should all find comfort that she is without pain and suffering and without limitations any longer. And that she is able to spend time with her heavenly family again while looking over her earthly family from above. She will truly be missed until the day we all meet again.
