Cindy L. Ernest

Click on the tribute wall above to view Cindy Lee's video tribute. Cindy Lee Ernest, age 64 of Newport, passed away Thursday, April 29, 2021 at ProMedica Ebeid Hospice in Sylvania, Ohio. Born September 10, 1956 in Pontiac, Cindy was the daughter of Willis and Olive (Hall) Baldwin. Cindy worked production at Yanfeng for the past 12 years. She loved plants, gardening, dogs and animals of all types, doing puzzles and collecting. She also loved music, especially Alice Cooper. Cindy very much enjoyed the Christmas season, and as a dedicated mother with a strong work integrity, her most treasured times were those spent with her family. Cindy leaves to cherish her memory her children: Joshua (Becky) Halsey, Shaun Halsey and Shanda (Jonathan) Slick; grandchildren: Emily Greiner and Anthony Halsey; as well as four siblings: Albert Wesner, Darlene (Cloise) Alexander, Carla Smith and Darren Baldwin. Sadly, she was preceded in death by her parents, a sister-in-law Rowena Baldwin and a nephew Justin Alexander.
