Chuck W. Pinkston

Chuck Pinkston, 52 years old, husband of Susan L. Smith-Pinkston, passed early August 26, 2012 at their home in Dearborn Heights, MI. Chuck had brain cancer which he bravely fought for eight months. He is survived by his wife and best friend : Susan L. Smith. His parents : Robert Pinkston and Judy Dykas and step-father : James Dykas. His sister Cynthia Scappaticci. Chuck was very near and dear to Susan's parents who treated him like he was their own, parents-in-laws : Barbara A. (Mom) and Robert E. Smith (Bob). Mom Barb called Chuck her Son-in-Love. Dad Bob talked to Chuck nearly everyday for past six years. Aunt Linda (nee Pinkston) who always loved Chuck as a young child and loved him like he was her own son (her first). He was preceded in death by his grandmother Opal Pinkston and Great Aunt Ella. Chuck has numerous loving family members who will miss him deeply : Aunts : Linda Livernois, Thu Smith, Lisa Smith, Joyce Smith, Sally LaTocha, Shannon Smith, Janice Pinkston. Uncles : Chuck Pinkston, Russ Livernois, Dennis Smith, James Smith, Elmer LaTocha, David Smith, Richard Smith, David Dykas and preceded in death by Jerry Smith. Sister-in-Laws : Yuko Grisius, Angela Bachman, Kimberly Shepard, Michelle Hill. Brother-in-Laws : Mark Smith, Dan Smith, Charles Bachman, Craig Shepard and Silvio Scappaticci. Nieces : Danielle Smith-Fehse, RaeAnna Smith, Amy Bachman, Jessica Bachman, Holly Bachman, Sidney Hill, Mikayla Hill, Erika Hill, Kylie Hill and Abigail Shepard, Giovanna Scappaticci, Stevi Parce and Staci Burns. Nephews : Ryan Smith, Eric Fehse, Caiden Fehse and Silvio Scappaticci.
