Christine Pavia

Christine was born on January 20, 1930 in Detroit, Michigan and died on January 19, 2018 at her home in Allen Park at the age of 87. Beloved wife of the late Charles. Loving mother of Barbara (Michael) Leis. Also survived by her nephew Kenneth (Jackie) Olejniczak as well as other loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Theresa (nee: Slesinski) Pianowski and her sister Rose Olejniczak. She will be missed by the dogs Bear, Winston and Sherlock. Christine cherished her family; she was a down to earth Godly woman who prayed the Rosary every day. Visitation is on Monday, January 22, 2018 from 3 – 9 pm with a Rosary on Monday at 7:15 pm both at The Allen Park Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 10915 Allen Rd. (Corner of Goddard). Christine will lie in state on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 from 9:30 am at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, 9000 Laurence, Allen Park until the Funeral Liturgy which will begin at 10 am. Entombment Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Brownstown Twp., Michigan. Memorial contributions to honor Christine's life may be made for masses in her honor.
