Click on the tribute wall above to view Chris' video tribute. Christopher Scott Beri from Taylor Michigan, passed away unexpectedly on August 6th, 2022, at the age of 58. Chris' is a loving husband, caring father, grandfather, friend and neighbor. Christopher is survived by his loving wife Deborah Beri; his daughters, Ashley Beri (JD Gray), Jaley Beri (Timothy DeBusk); his grandchildren Jordan, Avery, Aria, Brayden, Johnathon & Connor; his parents Roger & Beverly Beri, Gerald & Susan Walker; his siblings James Beri (Diane), Heather Mercado (Rick), Mitchell Beri (Kelly), Cathey Oberdorf (Steve), Richard Walker (John), Sherry Walker (Jeff) and nieces and nephews. Chris has lived in the Downriver area all his life. As a young man the stories go that he was always funny and played jokes on others. He was always into some sort of trouble. Chris' way was to always take things lightly and make fun out of almost everything. Chris was always lending a helping hand. He had a way of making everyone smile and feel special. It was amazing he never forgot a name; he knew you forever. Chris and Debbie married in 1985 and they had two beautiful daughters, Ashley and Jaley, who were the joy of his life. Chris loved his son in-laws, JD and Timmy as his own children. Chris' most treasured moments were spending time with his family. Chris cherished each one of his grandchildren and built a special bond with them in their own way. He left an enormous impact on all our lives. Chris had many hobbies, the lake, working outside and mostly loved anything to do with cars. He spent time catching up with the neighbors and was always helping someone. He is well known in the community as Chris Beri the "Car Guy". He loved nascar racing and spent many summers making memories with his friends at the races. He had several cars over the years to make his to be dream car, but they came and went over time. Finally, he found her... his bad ride "The Galaxie". He planned his days in the summer to take her out for a ride and see the other guys enjoying their hot rods. This is what he loved to do and couldn't wait to retire, just to be able to "enjoy the ride". Chris' smile and sense of humor will be missed by everyone. We all love you, Chris. One more time....awwww skeet skeet
