Cheryl Nadine Werling

Cheryl Nadine Werling, of Melvindale, passed away May 14, 2023. Loving mom of James R. (Loretta) Werling, Catherine (David) Deegan, David W. (Patricia) Werling, Matthew (Patricia) Werling, Gregory (Lisa) Werling, and Daniel (Jeanette) Werling. Dear grandma of Jacqueline (Nick), James, Jonathen (Chelsie), Kellie, Nicole, James, Brieanna, Brenden, Daniel, Zachary, Elisabeth, Alyson, Anthony, Rebecca, Neil, Paul (Sarah), Andrew (Erin) and Nathan (Katie). Proud great grandma of 14. Cherished sister of the late Charles (the late Frannie) Parlette, the late Vernon (Gertrude) Parlette, the late Alan (Carol Sue) Parlette, the late Fr. Thomas Parlette, and the late Fredrick (the late Carol Ann) Ruble. She is survived by many nieces, nephews and other loving family members. She is preceded in death by her parents, Orville Parlette and Myrtle LeRoy.

Cheryl adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed crafting and playing bingo while drinking hot tea.

Visitation will be held at The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes – Ridge Chapel on Thursday May 25, 2023 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm. A vigil service will begin at 6 pm. The funeral mass will take place Friday, May 26, 2023, in state at 9:30am until Mass at 10:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Trenton. Following the service burial will take place at Roselawn Cemetery, LaSalle, Michigan.
