Charles L. Laura

Born in Flat Rock, Charles was the son of George and Emma (Houghsen) Laura. He married the love of his life, Sharon Kolasinski, on May 26, 1962. Sadly she preceded him in death March 2, 2010. A dedicated family man, Charles worked as a Fitter/Welder at Michigan Plate for many years. He enjoyed hunting, showing military trucks and building models. Charles leaves to cherish his memory his children: Charles (Kristen) Laura of Carleton and Darrin (Jennifer) Laura of Riverview; grandchildren: Marissa, Dylan and Jenna; a great grandson Weston; as well as a brother Rolland (Beverly) Laura of Carelton. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a grandchild Jordyn; two borthers: Leroy Laura and George Laura; and three sisters: Julie Rutkowske, Donna Gonyea and Lillian Kezell.
