Charles John Vella
Charles John Vella; age 86. Passed away March 5, 2018. Formerly of Allen Park, Mi. Beloved husband of the late Shirley Vella for 40 years. Loving father of Charles (Carla) Vella, Karen (Richard) Marquez, and the late Christopher Vella. Charles is also survived by his grandchildren Lauren, Nicole, Ted, and RJ as well as his great-grandchildren Dominic, Reese, Damon, Henry and the late Christopher. Charles served in the army during the Korean Conflict, he retired from the Allen Park Fire Department as Captain after 26 years. Charles was also a proud member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church in Allen Park.
