Charles F. Deck

Charles Francis Deck, 92, passed away January 1st, 2023, in Trenton, MI with his beloved wife Eva at his side. Charlie was a true scientist. He grew up in St Louis, MO and received his PhD in Chemistry from Washington University. He was a research chemist at BASF Wyandotte his entire professional career. After retirement he was active in local government and tended his unique garden of wildflowers and rare plants. He is survived by his wife Eva, sons Michael (Carol), Francis (Katie) and Paul (Carla), by grandchildren Cady, Mary, Madeline, Charlie and Audrey, and by his sister Mary. A remembrance gathering will be held at a later date.
