Charles "Chuck" Stevens

Charles A. “Chuck” Stevens, age 86 of Trenton Michigan passed away peacefully on December 6, 2023. He was born on May 26, 1937 in Trenton Michigan. He is reunited with his beloved wife, Patricia (Gillen) Stevens.


He is survived by his daughters Gina (Michael) Dougherty of Creve Coeur, Mo, Amy (Brian) Hurd of Clarkston, Mi, and the proud Papa of grandchildren; Megan (Ryan) Voitik, Mitchell Dougherty, Frank Paul and Vinny Toarmina, great granddaughter's Kinsley and Karsyn Voitik, his sister Mary Cline, nephew Gary (Susan)Cline, nieces Jenny Bergman and Ann (Jim) Weir.


He was president of his high school class and attended monthly luncheons with classmates for years. After graduating from the University of Michigan, Chuck joined General Motors where he completed a 37 year career as a senior buyer. He and his beloved wife, who met at Sibley Gardens, were affectionately known as Peppermint Patte and Charlie Brown. They enjoyed golfing, playing euchre, and watching Wolverine football. “Chuck’s Chili” recipe has become legendary. His hobbies included; golfing, making golf clubs and watching golf. Above all, his greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends.
