Charlene Thompson

Charlene Thompson, age 90 of Monroe, passed away on May 14, 2022. Born December 16, 1931 in Monroe, MI to John and Grace (nee: Lazette) Biggins. Charlene married Archie Thompson, Jr. in 1957; he preceded her in death on September 17, 2018. Cherished mother of Dale (Teresa) Thompson of Monroe, the late Jeffery Thompson, Blaine Thompson of Monroe, Lynn (Tony) Colton of Mecosta and Tammy Thompson of Monroe. Proud grandmother of Sarah Thompson, Brittany Mitchell, Victoria Thompson and Autumn Thompson and great grandmother of Alexea, Jaidyn, Wyatt, Karter, Avery, Reese, Kaylynn, William, Declan and Gideon. Also survived by many other loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers Robert Hoeltzlien and Darrell Biggins. Charlene was a private person; her Catholic faith was very important to her. She was a proud homemaker who cherished her family, especially her grandchildren. Earlier in her life she enjoyed sewing and other homemaking activites. Memorial contributions to honor her life may be made as the donor chooses.
