Chacko C. Abraham

Chacko was born on February 19, 1934 in Kaviyoor, Kerala, India and went to be with the Lord on August 25, 2017 at the age of 83. He was the beloved husband of 54 years to Silu (Liz), cherished dad of Mary "Reena"(Al) Kormos, Beena Abraham and Jake (Mary "Biji") and appacha of Hannah, Aidan, Gabriel and Elijah. He was also dearest brother of Ammukutty Paulson, Mathai Chacko, Kunjumol Thomas and Gracy Thomas. He was preceded in death by his parents C.C. and Mariamma Chacko, sister Kunjamma Samuel and brother Chacko Jacob. Chacko served as a pharmacy technician for many years at Beaumont Hospital Dearborn. He had a strong faith in Jesus Christ and worshiped at Dearborn Chapel for 30 years. He was well known for his love and concern for his family and friends and his willingness to help anyone. He was dedicated to work, was a lifelong teacher and enjoyed playing chess. Visitation is on Monday, August 28, 2017 from 2:30 pm – 8 pm at The Allen Park Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 10915 Allen Rd. (Corner of Goddard). There will be an opportunity for sharing from 6pm-7:30pm on Monday. The funeral service is on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at 10 am at the funeral home. Interment St. Hedwig Cemetery, Dearborn Heights.
