Cathy Ann Buchanan, 58, of Ecorse. Born on June 15, 1961 in Wyandotte, Michigan. Passed away on February 7, 2020. Beloved wife of 29 years to Harold Buchanan. Loving mother of Sheila (Eric) Hainbecher, Misty Buchanan, Derek Buchanan, Gary (Mandy) Ballard, Jennifer Anne (Brandon) DeValle, Danielle Angela (Gary) Woody, Harold (Paula) Buchanan II. Survived by her brother John (Mary) Hainbecher and sister Laurie Dughayli. Preceded in death by her parents Leonard Hainbecher and Lillian (Howard) Hiller. Her sister Marilyn Hainbecher, and brothers Gregory and Carl Hainbecher. Proud Nana to Dominic, Dominick, Michelle, Hunter, Bentley, Marley, Reya, Isabelle, Shyanne, Addyson, Kevin, Neveah, Maddox, Korbyn, Harold, Faith, Hope, and Charity. Cathy attended Ecorse High school. She had her own cleaning business as a housekeeper. Her favorite pastimes were spending time with her family, playing bingo, shopping, and playing cards. She loved being a Nana and spending time with all her grandchildren. Services will be held at The Martenson Family of Funeral homes, 3200 West Rd, Trenton MI. Visitation is Thursday, 02/13 from 2:00PM-9:00PM and Friday 02/14 from 1PM- 7:30PM. The service will be held on 02/14 at 5:00PM. Since Cathy loved plants, the family suggests potted perennials, mixed planters, or succulents in lieu of flowers.
