Catherine W. Nadeau

Born in Rochester, Michigan, Catherine was the daughter of Harold & Anna (Bell) Gillean. A 1937 graduate of St. Mary's Accademy, she married George W. Nadeau Janaury 9, 1943. Sadly he preceded her in death April 3, 2008. A dedicated homemaker, Catherine worked as a telephone operator with Monroe Bell during World War II. She was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church. Catherine leaves to cherish her memory three daughters: Anne (Donald) Earnhart of Perrysburg, Ohio, Suzanne Nadeau of Monroe and Nancy Powell of Brownstown; five grandchildren: Geoffrey Earnhart, Bradley Earnhart, Carrie Ward, Christina Bius and Anthony Powell as well as four great grandchildren: Casey Ward, Chase Ward, Brianna Everden and Connor Everden. In addition to her husband and children, Catherine was preceded in death by a son Charlie Nadeau; two brothers: Jack Gillean and Ronald Gillean. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Sister Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
