Loving mom of Carthy (Claude) Chavez, Eva (Wayne) Sweet-Phelps, Raymond A., Jr. (Sandy), Steven and Christopher. Dearest grandma of Kevin, Brianna, Justin, Brittany, Melissa, Donna, Bob, Nicole (Kenneth) Mckelvey and Sandy. Great grandma of Logan, Makayla, Alayna, Robert, Brooklyn, Mikayla, Jacob, Ben, Izzy and Justin Jr. Dearest sister of Diane (Pat) Daly, James (Lana) Herring, the late Jean (the late George) LaPere. Also survived by many other loving family and friends. Preceded in death by her parents James and Eva (nee: Lucas) Herring. Carthy’s love in life was her family; she was retired from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan and was a long-time member of the First United Methodist Church in Flat Rock where she was a dedicated member and active volunteer. Memorial contributions to honor her life may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
