Carmen Ibarra

Carmen Ibarra, Age 90 of Southgate. Passed away March 11, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Santiago “Jimmy” Ibarra for 67 beautiful years. Loving mother of Elaine Coleman, Janet (the late Timothy) Murphy, Henry (Maryann) Ibarra and James (Colleen) Ibarra. Proud grandma of Justin, Kevin, Theresa, Christina, Michael, Heidi, Stephanie, Jennifer, James, Amanda, and John. Great grandma of Matthew, Vincent, Hank, Louie, Carlo, Selena and Ace. She is survived by her siblings, Esther, Josefina, Margaret, Robert, Paul, Sebastian, and George; also, by many loving nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, Pablo and Luz Escamilla; and her siblings, Ernestine, Eddie, Hank, and Mary.

Carmen enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. She enjoyed cooking for all of her loved ones. Scrapbooking and her book club were one of her many passions. She was a member of the Rosary Altar Confraternity.
