Candace Mierzwinski

Born in Southfield, Candace was the daughter of Douglas and Carol (Beach) Mierzwinski. Candace always wanted to be a star, little did she know though, she was a star in all of our eyes. She was an activist, a humanitarian, and a member of Abate region 18, Carleton MI. She loved the theater, and was president of her drama club in high school, as well being a music enthusiast. Those who knew her knew that she stern and she spoke her mind. Some liked it, some didn't. Candace did not have any children of her own, however, was a mother to many as well as sister and dear friend. Candace is survived by her brother Matthew (Kathy Bomia) Mierzwinski and their children Alexander, Anna, and Andrew (AJ); step-brother Roy (Melissa) Cartwright and their children; her mother Carol Mularski, grandmother Wanda Mierzwinski, aunt Carol (Jim) Zawacki and their daughter Alexandra; her uncle Merge Mierzwinski and his daughter Dylan and son Nikolai, as well as cousin Melissa Beach and her children. Candace's family would also like to thank friends: Colton Jones, Steven West, Dawn Spears, Rhonda Miller, Nakia Bozeman, and Thomas Rhinehardt.
