Bud 'Papa' Robinson

Born in Monroe, Bud was the son of Walter and Nina (Ruder) Robinson. A graduate of Monroe High School, he faithfully served our country in the United States Army from October 1, 1961 until August 9, 1962. Bud married the love of his life, Lunette Mexico, in 1964. Bud retired from Wellspring Lutheran Services Lutheran Home, after more than 20 years of service. He was a member of the American Legion and Zion Lutheran Church. An avid Detroit Tigers Fan, he enjoyed tinkering, fishing and camping, but his most cherished times were those spent with his family. Bud leaves to cherish his memory, Lunette, his wife of the past 54 years; children: Roger (Roxanne) Robinson of LaSalle, Tabatha (Theodore Rounds) Lieser of Spotsylvania, Virginia and Jeffery Robinson of Monroe; six grandchildren: Eric (Pietrina) Lieser, Kellie Lieser, Jacob Robinson, Katie Robinson, Erin Robinson and Tara Robinson; two great grandsons: Rider Lieser and Wesley Lieser; a great granddaughter on the way McKinlie Ridner and his beloved dog "Duke".
