Buck Jones of Woodhaven, Michigan passed away in his home on Sunday, August 18, 2024 at the age of 55. Beloved husband of Lapellya Jones. Dearest father of Nate Smith of Woodhaven, MI, Timothy (Corrie) Smith of Cross Plains, TN, Crystal (Charles) Cole, Lucas Jones, and Maggie Jones of Portland, TN. Caring son of Mack and Nina Bennett of Franklin, KY. Loving grandfather of Amber Boren, Kristin and DJ Randolph, Shyan Powell, Christopher Powell, and Greg Powell of Portland, TN and Caleb and Shelby Smith of Cross Plains, TN. Great-grandfather of Makenna Boren, Carson Boren, Aniyah Powell, Bentley Venable, Scott Powell, and Kolton Powell of Portland, TN. Adored brother of Dawayne (Crystal) Bennett of Medicine Hat, Canada, Kevin (Mary Beth) Bennett, Chad Bennett, Christina Shedd, William Bennett, and Shannon (Devin) Bennett of Franklin, Kentucky. Uncle of Cody Shedd and Michael Harringtonage of Franklin, KY and great-uncle of Hunter Shedd, Jessie Shedd, and Lillian Shedd of Franklin, KY. Buck will be deeply missed by many loving family and friends.

A memorial gathering will take place on Thursday, August 22, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Ridge Chapel of the Martenson Family of Funeral Homes located at 2272 W. Jefferson Avenue, Trenton, MI, 48183. There will be a memorial service held that same day at 2:30 p.m.
