Brian Mekoliavitch

On January 26, 2024, Brian Keith Mekoliavitch left this world after putting up a courageous fight against the cancer that had consumed his body. In Brian, we lost a wonderful soul, loving Father, Husband, Brother, Uncle, Cousin, Neighbor and Friend. As Brian Jr. so eloquently put it, “This is the price you pay for having such a great Person like Brian in your life… You get the wonder, the joy, the tender moments... and you get the tears at the end, too.

No matter what was going with Brian, you could rest assure that he would be there for you in your time of need. During the holidays and special events, Brian was the host with the most. He was the gourmet Chef, he was DJ Key Chain, he was Santa Claus, he was a Super Hero, he was whatever the moment called for but most of all, he was the most special, loving, caring and exceptional person you would want to be around.

Brian is survived by his wonderful wife Michelle, two (2) sons, Brian Jr. (Wife Cheryl) and Taylor, loving brother, Steven Craig (Wife Jennifer Brashear), Nephews - Scott O’Neil (Wife Dawn Robinson O'Neil, Son Brad O’Neil), Conner & Hunter Mekoliavitch, Nieces - Rocki (Linda) Flynn (Husband Pat, Son Aron), Lori Proctor, Lili and Sara Mekoliavitch, Stephanie Doughty (Husband Justin, sons Jacob & Logan, daughter Madison), Lindsey Sidlauskas (Husband Travis, daughters Belle, Paisley & Abbey), Kristen Prendergast, Felicia Ritz (Fiancée Christian Bartels, son Grayson). Preceded in death by Father Donald, Mother Jean, Sister Diane, Brother in Law Chuck O'Neil, Brother Donnie, Mother in Law Debbie Glover, and Father in Law Jim Glover.

Brian, You have always been there for all us no matter what. There is no greater love than that. You will always be remembered with so much affection and never forgotten. Now it is time for you to rest. You have done your best and we are thankful for the time we got to spend with you on this earth. Until we meet again, now go and be with the loved one’s that have gone before us!

Life is short, so please remeymber to tell your family and friends you love them. Try and work on being less distant.

Keep your tribe close!
