Brenda K. Jones, of South Rockwood, passed away April 18, 2023. Beloved wife of Michael Jones for 53 beautiful years. Loving mother of Christine (Richard) Mazur, Jeffery Jones, William (Ann) Jones and Michael R. (Dawn) Jones. Proud Nana of Jeffery Jones Jr., Jonathan Mazur, Ashley Jones, Nicholas Mazur, Victoria Mazur, Jason Jones, Timothy Jones, Austin

Jones, Brody Jones, Charlotte Jones, Macy Jones and Emery Jones. Cherished great grandma of Mackenzie Jones and one on the way. Dear sister of Janice Pittman, Brent Wood and Cheryl Dusault. She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and

Arline Wood, and her sisters Stella Bennett and Pamela Stumpmier.

Brenda was a teacher at St. Mary’s Catholic School of Rockwood and at Flat Rock Public Schools for many years. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and most importantly spending time with family. Her light in life was taking care of her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a mother to all.

Visitation will take place at The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes – Ford Chapel on Friday, April 21, 2023 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm. A sharing of memories service will begin at 6:00 pm. Visitation will continue on Saturday, April 22, 2023  at St. Mary’s Annunciation Catholic Church, Rockwood from 10:00 am until the funeral mass begins at 10:30 am.
