Brenda C. Vanslambrouck

Born in Detroit, Brenda was the daughter of J.L. and Mary (Gilbert) Frazier. She married Joseph VanSlambrouck on December 13, 2001 at St. Anne Catholic Church in Monroe. Brenda worked as a Custodian for Airport Schools for 12 years before taking a medical retirement in 2002. Brenda enjoyed collecting lighthouses, horses and butterflies. She also loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping, but her most treasured times were those spent with her family. Brenda leaves to cherish her memory, Joseph, her husband of the past 16 years; daughters Tracy Moffatt of Newport and Emy (Michael) Reizin of Macomb; grandchildren: Shane Cornell, Trenton Moffatt and Alexander Reizin; as well as her sisters: Gwen Frazier of Newport, Jan Frazier of Monroe, Verna Frederick of Okeechobee, Florida and Lawanna (Tom) Benore of Dundee. Sadly she was preceded in death by her parents, as sister Lana Atchinson and a brother Keith Frazier. Memorial contributions in honor of Brenda may be made to ProMedica Hospice of Monroe.
