'Born Free' James H. Nichols

Nichols, James H., age 78, January 5, 2018, formerly of Gibraltar. Beloved husband of the late Joan Nichols. Loving father of Kim (Duane) Trojniak, William (Marianne) Knight, Steven (Sheryl) Knight and Susan (Dan) Rose. Also, survived by 12 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and his sister Julie Storm. James was a lifelong resident of Gibraltar, a volunteer firefighter and was retired from Monsanto. He was an avid ham radio operator and talked to people all over the world. He was known as Jimmy "Mudcat" Nichols on the CB. He was a long time member of the Rockwood Moose. He loved golfing, walking, and snow mobiling, but most of all boating to Sugar Island and Crystal Bay. James was a sun worshiper and always had a FULL body tan. He spent his winters in Florida and traveled across the country in his motorhome.
