Bobby Clinton Baker of Lincoln Park, MI passed away on August 24, 2023, at the age of 84.
Beloved father of Tina Dietz, Gina (Tom) Dunn and John Baker.
Beloved grandfather of Chris (Crystal) Prescott, Deanna (Jim) Warrington, Ronald (Jessica) Dietz, Izak (Frankie) Dunn and Jacob (Morgan) Dunn.
Beloved great-grandfather of Ashlyn & Mackenzie Dietz, Theodore Maiolie-Dunn, and Devony Morton.
Preceded in death by his wife Dong Nam Baker, his brother Peter Baker, his sister Mary Jane Baker, his son John Baker, and his parents Clinton & Letty Baker
Bobby was born in Little Rock, AK. He served in the United States Army for 3 years. While he was stationed in South Korea, he met his wife Dong Nam Kim, who at the time was a single mother of 1 to Tina. Bobby and Dong Nam were married in Korea in December of 1958. Bobby brought Dong Nam, Tina, and his newest daughter, Gina, to the US. They then had a son, John Baker.
Bobby was a robotics engineer. He worked as an electrician for Aramark Services at the GM Warren Tech Center up until 3 weeks prior to his death. He liked to stay busy and in his spare time he liked to exercise, work on cars and work on things around his home.
Bobby was generous and hard-working. He was always willing to help his family and friends. He always remembered to feed the birds and the squirrels in the neighborhood and loved to watch them eat and play. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the Trenton Chapel of the Martenson Family of Funeral Homes located at 3200 West Road, Trenton, MI 48183.
