Blanche C. Kiszela

Blanche Kiszela, of Trenton, passed away May 18,2022. Born in Winterville, Maine on March 3, 1923 to Henry and Essie Soucie. She is survived by her daughters, Jean (Lawrence) Wistinghausen, of Houghton Lake, Mi, and Judith Ann (Loren) Nelson, of St. Petersburg, Florida. Loving grandmother of Jeffrey L. Wistinghausen I, Glen A. Wistinghausen, William Pischke Jr, and Pamela Kennedy. Great grandmother of Jeffrey L. Wistinghausen II, Ashley Wistinghausen, Nicole Wistinghausen, Scott Wistinghausen, Haylie McDowell, Layla McDowell, and Payten McDowell. Loving aunt of Daniel Soucie, Norman Soucie Jr., and Carrie Ann Soucie. Loving sister of Norman L. Soucie Sr., Raymond J. Soucie Sr., and Raymond Lee. She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Essie Soucie; her husband Henry J. Kiszela; and her son-in-law William Pischke Sr. From 1943 until 1945, Blanche worked at Rouge Ford Motor Co. on the B-29 ailerons as a riveter, she is known as Rosie the Riveter. Here she worked with Mary Pischke and Bill Pischke’s mother. She started in real estate in the Wyandotte area in 1942, and in 1965 began in Trenton, as the owner of Argonne Park Apartments.
