Billy Joe Mckelvey

Born in Monroe County, Tennessee. Billy Joe was the son of Jake & Beulah (Furrow) McKelvey. He married the love of his life, Pauline Miller on September 27, 1980. Sadly she preceded him in death April 12, 1993. Billy Joe worked for General Motors at the Warren Transmission Plant for over 20 years, retiring in 1997. Billy Joe leaves to cherish his memory his children: William Marcus McKelvey of Monroe, Andrew Ryan (KC) McKelvey of Flat Rock and Maggie Marie McKelvey of Louisville, Kentucky; seven grandchildren: Alexis Buchs, Aiden McKelvey, Autumn McKelvey, Isaac McKelvey, Ryan McKelvey, Eli McKelvey and Ava Boggess; as well as three brothers: Jim (Tammy) McKelvey of Willis, JW McKelvey of Woodhaven and Ken (Pat) McKelvey of Flat Rock. In addition to his wife and parents, Billy Joe was preceded in death by three sisters: Joanne Stevens, Jackie McKelvey and Kimberly McKelvey.
