Bill Ward

Bill was born on July 27, 1924 and went home to be with the Lord on March 24, 2022 at the age of 97; he was of Wyandotte. Beloved husband of the late Jackie. Loving dad of the late Billy and to Andrew and Kevin (Sue). Beloved father-in-law of Diane Ward. Proud papaw of Daniel (Katrina), Carl (Ceilya), Angela (Matt), Kyle, David (Tabitha), Amanda and Michael. Also survived by his great grandchildren as well as other loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers. Billie was a long-time member of the Wick Road Baptist Church and Beacon Baptist Church; he retired from Firestone. Visitation is on Monday, March 28, 2022 from 12 pm until the time of the service which will begin on Monday at 2 pm; both at The Trenton Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 3200 West Rd., Trenton. Interment Oak Ridge Cemetery. Memorial contributions to honor Billie’s life may be made to the Wick Road Baptist Church Missionary Fund.
