Billie J. Reis, 88 of Taylor, MI, formerly of Pedro, Ohio passed away on July 31st, 2018. He was born March 15, 1930 in Manila, Arkansas. The son of the late Ethel and Antony Reis. Mr. Reis served proudly in the US Marine Corps. Afterwards he had a life long career in construction, working on many memorable buildings and bridges in the state of Michigan. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Ironton, Ohio. He enjoyed spending time with family, traveling, fishing, hunting, playing cards with family and friends and relaxing, enjoying the outdoors. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife of 47 years, Frances Reis and his second wife of 15 years, Malinda Reis. He is survived by his sister, Lorene Pearson, his daughters: Darlene (late Frank) Siemienski, Jan (Butch) Clark, Judy Johnson and 3 step daughters: Elizabeth (Scott) Sanders, Belinda McMahan, Vicky Gill. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren and a loving niece and nephews. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart/Stroke Association, the Wounded Warrior Project and Disabled Veterans of America. Click on the multimedia tab to view Bill's video tribute.
