Beverly Ann Holister

Beverly Ann Hollister, age 73, of Harrison, passed away on Monday, May 20, 2013 at MidMichigan Medical Center in Midland. She was born the daughter of Harry and Eudora (Duvall) Reaume on May 10, 1940, in Monroe, Michigan. She married Frederich Hollister on Sept. 6, 1958 at St. Charles Church in Newport and he survives her. She and Fred moved to Harrison from Newport, Mi. in 1993. Beverly was a member of St. Athanasius Catholic Church in Harrison, the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, and the Women of the Moose. Early in her married life she had worked in a Dr's Office and then at Duff's Restaurant in Southgate. She then served as the Dietician for Applewood Nursing Home for 15 years. She had worked with her husband as the "COO" of Arnold Aviation and Hollister Aviation and Hollister Excavating, and was a licensed Private Pilot. Her first and largest accomplishment in life was being MOM. Survivors include her husband Fred, her son, Frederich D. (Pam) Hollister Jr. of Harrison, daughters, Tammy L. (Jim) Taylor of Rockwood, Mi., and Theresa L. (Scott) Ferguson of Petersburg, Mi., grandchildren, Kelin (Greta) Ferguson, Nancy Ferguson, Kelsey Taylor, Cody Taylor, and Jason Hitchew. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Harry and Dale Reaume. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 22, at 4:00 PM from the St. Athanasius Catholic Church in Harrison where friends may visit with her family on Wednesday from 11 AM to 4 PM.
