Betty V. Paisley

Betty was born on July 31, 1921 in Detroit, Michigan and died at Beaumont Hospital-Dearborn on November 30, 2017 at the age of 96; she was of Allen Park. Beloved wife of the late Elvin. Loving mom of Karen Estes, Denise Nikischer and Richard Paisley. Proud grandma of Tracy Leigh (Joe) Pacaccio, John Carl Estes, Ryan Richard (Sherry) Estes, Randall Estes, Carl (Nicole) Nikischer, Angela Marie (Mark) Holthus, Samantha Leigh Nikischer, Angelique Paisley, Sarah (Basem) Al Alwan and Mary Beth (William) Everly. Also survived by 10 great grandchildren, one sister Laura (the late Charles) Sullivan as well as other loving family and friends. Preceded in death by her parents Walter and Helen (nee: Perry) Hughes and one brother Jack John Hughes. Betty's love in life was her family and she was also an avid bowler; she loved fabric and sewing and for many years worked at Minnesota Fabric. Visitation is on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 from 10 am until the time of the service which will begin on Tuesday at 12 pm all at The Allen Park Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 10915 Allen Rd. (Corner of Goddard). Everyone is invited to join the family on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at 11 am at Acacia Park Cemetery in Beverly Hills, Michigan for the committal service; everyone will gather inside the main gate at the cemetery.
