Betty Louise Nutter

Born in Ashland, Kentucky, Betty was the daughter of George and Gypsy (Williams) Menhouse. A high school graduate, she continued her education by earning a Bachelor of Nursing Degree. Betty married the love of her life, Murl Nutter, in 1953. Sadly he preceded her in death in 2008. She worked as a Registered Nurse at Wyandotte Hospital of over 25 years. Betty played semiprofessional baseball at one time. She was a member of the Woodhaven Freewill Baptist Church and sang in their choir. Betty enjoyed bowling but her most treasured times were those spent with her family.

Betty leaves to cherish her memory her children: Mark Nutter, Janet (Wendell) Spaeth, Cynthia (Joseph) Pawlicki and Brian Nutter; as well as 5 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and 2 siblings: Jenny (George) Neiville and Mary Lou Acton. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 5 siblings.
