Betty Jane Thomas

Betty Jane (Christopher)Thomas of Gibraltar, born on July 22,1942 to Frank and Betty Christopher from Union Town PA, has passed away peacefully on July 19, 2023.

Beloved wife of the late George Norman Thomas whom she was married to for 58 years. Betty was step mother to Kimberly Jayne Tortomasi, Susan Lynn McNabb, Shawn Patrice (Vince) Symborski and Mark Norman (Caroline) Thomas that she loved and cherished as her own.

She is survived by her younger siblings Sue (Larry) Theisen, John (Hanh) Christopher, Jim Christopher and sister in law Jerry Thomas.

Betty was Grandma to Albert Ralph McNabb, Gary Samuel Tortomasi (deceased), Kristopher James Tortomasi, Holly Lea Tortomasi Hughes, Adam Michael McNabb, Lindsey Michelle (Charles) Miller, Kelly Ann Symborski and Mark Andrew Thomas. She was a Great Grandmother to Brandon McNabb, Brooklynn McNabb, Brady McNabb, Cameron McNabb and Rex Miller.

She was Auntie to Rachel Rysaac, Jocelyn (Stev) Tambascio, Darcy (Charles) Moffitt, Pamela Burko, Adam Christopher and Stephen (Stephanie) Thomas. Betty also was a Great Aunt to Phoenix, Storm, Ella, Alyssa, Samantha, Christine (Brett) and James. She was also a Great Great Aunt to Irene

Betty was a nurse in her career working with infants, she loved to travel, play and watch golf, and buying greeting cards from Hallmark. She was loved and will be missed.
