Betty Ann Krempa

Click on tribute wall above to view Betty's memorial video. Betty Ann Krempa, of Huron Township, passed away July 2, 2020 at the age of 76. Devoted wife to Jerry Krempa for 55 years. Cherished mother to her children Geoffrey (Brooke) Krempa, and Brienna Krempa. Born in Bay City, Michigan, in June 1944, to the late George and Betty Meyers, she also grew up in Detroit and Lincoln Park, graduating from Lincoln Park High School in 1962. In addition to a love of reading – which she passed to her children – she was also an avid concertgoer and loved to dance. Betty Ann was also incredibly proud of her Christmas Village, a family tradition she began and everyone enjoyed each year during the holiday season. Betty Ann will always be remembered by all who knew her for her kindness, willingness to help anyone however she could, her openness, sense of humor, and her love of Coca-Cola (no ice). She worked in the telecommunications industry throughout her long career. She is survived by her husband, children, brother George (Marylin) Meyers, sister-in-law Pamela Meyers, along with many nieces and nephews, and countless family and friends. She is preceded in death by her brother Gary Meyers. Memorial services are private at this time. A larger celebration of Betty’s life is planned for a later date.
