Bettie Lou Machinsky

Bettie Lou Machinsky, born on July 29, 1933, peacefully passed away on March 25, 2022 at the age of 88. She is survived by her loving children; Richard (Elizabeth) Machinsky, Debra Gibson, and Denise (Curt) Jordan; her cherished grandchildren; Erin (Jason) Saineghi, Ryan Jordan, Shannon (Bob) Gannon, and Rick Freeman; as well as her five beloved great-grandchildren; Keira, Brynn, Isla, Charlotte, and Ellie. Bettie loved to read and was very active in the church community at the former St. Hughs Catholic Church in Southgate and St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church in Allen Park. She is preceded in death by her parents Miles and Agnes Gist, as well as her husband Louis Machinsky. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Alzheimer’s Association in memory of Bettie.
