Bessie H. White

Bessie was born on May 8, 1932 in Jellico, Tennessee and died on January 10, 2018 at Season's Hospice at Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital at the age of 85; she was of Riverview. Beloved wife of 66 years to Walter. Loving mom of Steve (Cathy), Pamela (Owen) Mayes and the late Gary. Cherished mammaw of Matthew and Kyle. Dearest sister of Mae and Don (Eloise). Also survived by her nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends. Preceded in death by her parents Walter and Maudie (nee: Carroll) Ayers, one brother James and two sisters Martha and Juanita. Bessie's love in life was her family and she especially cherished her grandsons; she was a dedicated woman who loved the Lord and her church family. Visitation is on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 from 2 – 9 pm at The Trenton Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 3200 West Rd., Trenton. The funeral service will be at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at noon. The interment will be at Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery.
