Bertha V. Strimpel

Bertha was born on October 2, 1922 in Monroe, Michigan and died at the age of 94 on July 26, 2017 at Wellspring Lutheran Home in Monroe; she was of Woodhaven. Beloved wife of the late Robert Strimpel and the late Albert Bromund. Loving mother of Nancy (Ralph) Kurtz, Alberta (Jerry) Strimpel, Robert (Marge) Strimpel, Rosemary Roseland, Nancy Hoffman and Don (Carolyn) Strimpel. Proud grandmother of 17, great grandmother of 28 and great great grandmother of 6. Dearest sister of Wilbur (the late Marguerite) Sachs, Verna (the late Ervin) Trosien, Betty (Leroy) Laeder and Marge (Tom) Steinke. Also survived by many other loving family and friends. Preceded in death by her parents Clarence and Clara (nee: Kipf) Sachs, 2 sisters Ruth (the late AJ) Pickford and Helen ( the late Walter) Trosien and 1 brother Marvin Sachs. Visitation is on Thursday from 5 – 9 pm and on Friday from 3 – 9 pm both at The Trenton Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 3200 West Rd., Trenton. Bertha will lie in state on Saturday at Christ The King Lutheran Church, 15600 Trenton Road, Southgate from 10 am until the time of the service which will begin at 11 am.
