Bernice M. Mignano

Born June 3, 1925 in Monroe, Bernice was the daughter of Peter and Frances (DelTurco) Miletti. She married the love of her life, Anthony Mignano, on June 12, 1947. Sadly he preceded her in death in 1994. A dedicated homemaker, Bernice also was the Cafeteria Manager at St. John's School for over 30 years, retiring in 1987. She was a lifelong member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church; she was a member of the Altar Society, volunteered on the funeral luncheon committee, was a Eucharistic Minister and a greeter for weekend masses. She also volunteered for the Thrift Shop Association and the Mercy-Memorial Hospital Guild. Bernice leaves to cherish her memory her children: Barbara (Tim) Greashaber of Monroe, Kathy (Ron) Motyka of Carleton, Micky (Tom) Meyers of Monroe and Mark (Jan) Mignano of Temperance; as well as a brother Michael (Carol) Miletti of Monroe; 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, Bernice was preceded in death by a brother Louis Miletti. Those wishing to make a memorial contribution are asked to consider St. John's Parish.
