Benny Frank Garnetti

Benny was born on July 3, 1923 in Glen White, WV and died on October 6, 2016 at Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital at the age of 93; he was of Allen Park. Beloved husband of the late Antionette. Loving dad of Angela (Thomas) Condon, Donna Bennett and Gloria Garnetti. Proud papa of Francesca Condon and Tom Condon. Great grand papa of Gianna Maria Garnetti. Also survived by his sister-in-law Helen Garnetti as well as other loving family and friends. Preceded in death by his parents Francesco and Angela (nee: Curro); two brothers Joe and Frank and one sister Concetta Milano. Benny proudly served his country in the United States Army during World War II; he retired from Ford Motor Company. Benny loved a good meal and loved to cook and he also enjoyed going to the horse races and playing cards. Benny will lie in state Saturday at 1 pm at St. Cyprian Catholic Church, 13249 Pennsylvania Rd., Riverview until the time of the Funeral Liturgy which will begin at 1:30 pm. Everyone is invited to the committal service which is scheduled for Monday at 2 pm at Our Lady of Hope Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made as the donor chooses. Any floral deliveries should be directed to St. Cyprian Catholic Church.
